Thought for the Day - 9th April 2010

Nature is resplendent with many colors. When you wear blue colored glasses you only see the color you have worn, isn't it? If the world appears to you as filled with differences, it is entirely due to your fault. If all appear as one, that too, is due to your love only. For both of these, the feeling in you is the cause. It is only because one has faults within oneself, one sees the world as faulty. The Lord always looks for goodness, not for faults and sins. He only sees the righteousness! Develop goodness and righteousness. Live and act in joy and love. These two are sufficient to attain salvation.

Thought for the Day - 27th March 2010

Desires breed wishes. Wishes cause birth and also death. If you are devoid of desires, you need not go through birth and death. The next birth is the result of unfulfilled desires in this life and is determined by them. However, the desire to know God, to love God and be loved by God is a desire that does not bind. When awareness of God dawns in all its splendor, every worldly, sensual desire is reduced to ashes. The individual Self will then turn towards Universal Self and delight itself in supreme everlasting peace.

My daughter saw the ads on tv for this and couldn't wait for it to come out. She loved it and absolutely loves dancing around to the songs. I watched it with her and I have to admit, enjoyed it as well! As soon as it was over she went and got on her "surfer" outfit and is now surfing around the house! Cute movie - recommend for all barbie fans!
