RAB NE BANA DI JODI - MATCHES ARE MADE BY THE SUPREME GOD

Today’s i-Pod generation doesn’t have much appetite for the drama that once got the kerchiefs out. Now, it only gets the i-Pods out... HOLD ON.. i am putting forward my view of this latest Yash Raj Films to hit the Screens last Friday.

Surinder Sahni (Shahrukh) returns to his town Amritsar with a reluctant bride Taani. She was set to marry another man who died in an accident on the day of the wedding and a twist of events made her take saat phere with Surinder instead.

The two make an odd match. She is a good-looking Punjabi kudi with suppressed jubilance, and he – in his full sleeve shirts and loose pants over sports shoes – is as ordinary and clumsy as a man could be. Even though Surinder loves her, he doesn’t express it to Taani, hoping that she will slowly start loving him..watch the movie to see what happens next...you will really love it.

SRK's latest release RAB NE BANA DI JODI is definitely special not just because of its extraordinary story and Aditya Chopra being at the helm of affairs but also because it features a beautiful medley song of with 5 dazzling beauties of Bollywood – Kajol, Bipasaha Basu, Lara Dutta, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherji. It is one of the highlights of the film.The medley is sung by Sonu Nigam and composed by Salim–Suleiman & Jaideep Sahni. It shows Shah Rukh paying tribute to yesteryear actors like Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna, Shammi Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor by dancing on their respective chart busters. The medley (a dream sequence song in the film) starts with Kajol & Shah Rukh Khan in THE RAJ KAPOOR & NARGIS style with 1950's hit song 'Pyaar Hua Ikraar hua...' The screen just lightens up to see SRK & Kajol sharing the same screen space.

Some say knowledge is valuable, but character is more valuable than knowledge. Raaz Part 2- Music Review

There were four questions raised at the beginning of this reviews for which the respective answers are: a) The music of Raaz - 2 indeed impresses, b) The soundtrack here is yet another good addition to the enviable music catalogue of the Bhatts and c) Emraan would certainly have some more chartbusters to add to his name. As for the last question i.e. whether Raaz - 2 matches up to Nadeem-Shravan's Raaz, then well, let's put it this way that albums like Aashique, Raaz or a Saajan are made only once and there shouldn't even be a conscious effort to replicate or surpass them. In this regard, the music of Raaz -2 has its own place under the sun and what matters in the end is whether it works for the film or not. Well, the answer for this one is a firm Yes!

Our only question to one and all is, why should mankind think, involve in activities that result in sufferings, terror, hatred, fighting, killings etc... in the short span of 4 years left to them. It needs to be utilized in a better way by doing all good things, helping others and thanking God for the opportunity given to us in being a human being... be thank full to the Lord

Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, Madhavan and Boman Irani. The film is a feel good family entertainer. It has the same warmth, simplicity and fun associated with Raju Hirani's films., as in Munnabhai MBBS.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra is producing the film. Abhijat Joshi and Raju Hirani have written the screenplay and the lyrics are by Swanand Kirkire. Shantanu Moitra is composing the music for the film.
